Data breach — Critical

In September 2026, a hacker using the alias ChimeraZ claimed to have compromised the infrastructure of KEL, a real-estate software vendor within the Orisha group, and offered for sale data on roughly 1.3 million people along with nearly 200,000 documents. Samples reviewed by several outlets showed names, addresses, emails, phone numbers and IBANs, and, in some records, a password field presented in plain text. A second claimed batch reportedly includes identity documents, invoices, pay slips and banking documents. KEL and Orisha had not issued an official statement on the exact volumes as of 2026-09-29.

The combination of contact details, IBANs and identity documents would let a third party impersonate an agency or property manager to request a fraudulent bank-detail change or payment.

## Exposed data

- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Postal address
- Customer ID
- Banking data (IBAN, card)
- Password (plaintext)
- Identity document
- Employment data
- Other personal data

## What you can do

- Change that password — and everywhere you reused it. That is how a leak spreads to your other accounts.
- Turn on two-factor authentication on the affected accounts: a stolen password is then no longer enough.
- Expect phishing attempts quoting your name and this company. A message that knows your details is not legitimate for that reason.
- Watch your statements. On any unknown debit, block the card and request a refund — French law (art. L133-18) entitles you to it.
- These documents enable identity theft, and cannot be reissued at will. Keep the notification letter: it proves where the leak came from if an account is opened in your name.
- You can ask the organisation exactly what was exposed about you (right of access), and complain to the DPA if no answer comes within a month.
