On 8 October 2026, a threat actor claimed to hold a database attributed to a French scouting association, with about 71,000 records. The published samples reportedly contain names, addresses, dates of birth, legal guardians' contact details, membership histories, training registrations and administrative authorisations. Minors may be among those affected. The origin of the data, its authenticity and the actual number of distinct individuals remain to be established, and the name used in the claim does not allow it to be attributed with certainty to the current Scouts et Guides de France association.

Linking a minor to their address and their parents' contact details could be used for targeted phishing or identity fraud attempts.
