Data breach — Moderate

A database associated with Be-in-home, a French platform for home maintenance tracking, was republished on 17 October 2026 on a cybercriminal forum. The 349 MB archive reportedly holds 2,081,658 rows, including information on about 30,000 customers according to the poster. Samples reviewed by FrenchBreaches show surnames, first names, email addresses, account identifiers, phone numbers, last-login dates and bcrypt password hashes. The data appears largely older (a reference to 2023) and nothing confirms a new intrusion at this stage; the origin of the initial leak is unknown.

Contact details tied to an account allow a malicious third party to target the people concerned with fraudulent messages or phishing calls.

## Exposed data

- Full name
- Email address
- Customer ID
- Phone number
- Connection data (IP, logs)
- Password (hashed)

## What you can do

- Change that password — and everywhere you reused it. That is how a leak spreads to your other accounts.
- Turn on two-factor authentication on the affected accounts: a stolen password is then no longer enough.
- Expect phishing attempts quoting your name and this company. A message that knows your details is not legitimate for that reason.
- You can ask the organisation exactly what was exposed about you (right of access), and complain to the DPA if no answer comes within a month.
