Data breach — Moderate

Printerpix, an online personalised-products platform, told its customers it detected unauthorised access to part of its systems on 5 October 2026. The intrusion reportedly took place between late September and early October 2026. The data potentially affected are names, email addresses, postal addresses and order histories, plus the passwords of accounts secured with a Printerpix password. Accounts created through Google or Facebook are not affected on this point, and the company states that no payment card data was involved. The number of customers affected has not been disclosed.

Combined with order history, names and contact details allow a third party to craft convincing phishing messages that refer to genuine orders.

## Exposed data

- Full name
- Email address
- Postal address
- Order history
- Password (hashed)

## What you can do

- Change that password — and everywhere you reused it. That is how a leak spreads to your other accounts.
- Turn on two-factor authentication on the affected accounts: a stolen password is then no longer enough.
- Expect phishing attempts quoting your name and this company. A message that knows your details is not legitimate for that reason.
- You can ask the organisation exactly what was exposed about you (right of access), and complain to the DPA if no answer comes within a month.
