# Alliance Police Nationale

Data breach — Low

Alliance Police Nationale informed its members by letter of an IT security incident that allowed unauthorised access to some of their personal data. The union has opened investigations with the help of specialists. The number of people affected, the date of the intrusion and the categories of data involved have not been specified, and no claim of responsibility has been identified. The union asks its members to stay alert to unusual e-mails, text messages or calls.

Membership of a police union is itself sensitive information, which could allow targeted fraudulent approaches if it were exposed.
