About
InYourGeek covers the day's tech news the way a developer colleague would tell you about it over coffee: accurate, sourced, and genuinely funny.
The idea
Tech news is fascinating, and it is usually told like a lightly reworded press release. We do the opposite: facts are checked and sourced, but we will not pretend a situation is reasonable when it plainly is not.
One article a day, 400 to 700 words, across five sections:AI, Dev, Software,Hardware and Security.
What you will not find here
No hardware reviews — we do not have the products in hand, and a review written without touching the object is a lie. No tutorials either: the format ages badly. And no jokes about people: a strategy can be ridiculous, a person is never "incompetent".
On serious topics — data breaches, layoffs, a cyberattack on a hospital — the tone goes straight. The rule is simple: if someone lost something, we do not laugh about their loss.
Who writes
InYourGeek is published by Sébastien Soulier, IT and AI consultant. Articles are written with AI assistance from identified sources, then reviewed and approved by a human before every publication. The full process is on the How we work page.
