No cookies
InYourGeek uses no cookies: no analytics, no advertising, no social network, no session cookies. No third-party service is loaded by the pages, so no third party can set any without our knowledge.
That is why no consent dialog is shown: the law requires consent before any non-essential access to your device — here, there is none.
The only thing stored on your device
If you switch themes with the button at the top of the page, your choice is kept in your browser's localStorage, under the keyiyg-theme, with only dark or light as its value.
This never leaves your device: it is sent to no server, enables no tracking, and is not accessible to us. It corresponds to a service you explicitly requested — displaying the site in your chosen theme — and therefore falls under the consent exemptions.
To clear it: clear site data for inyourgeek.com in your browser, or browse in a private window.
What if that changed?
Should an analytics tool be added one day, it would be cookieless and anonymous, and this page would be updated before it went live. Should anything requiring your consent be introduced, a banner would appear — with refusing as easy as accepting.
