AvantagesJeunes (CRIJ Bourgogne-Franche-Comté)

HighConfirmedNonprofits

Info Jeunes Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, which operates the AvantagesJeunes youth discount card, reported a security incident on 8 January 2026: beneficiary data was put up for sale on a cybercrime forum, with an initial batch claimed at around 282,906 accounts. The region notified the French data protection authority (CNIL) and stated that banking data and passwords were not affected. On 1 October 2026, a user on the same forum republished a database presented as larger (around 318,000 profiles), including names, dates of birth, email addresses, phone numbers and postal addresses, with a portion clearly belonging to minors; AvantagesJeunes has not publicly commented on this new publication.

The combination of name, date of birth and contact details, including for minors, exposes affected individuals to targeted phishing or identity-theft attempts.

  • Phone number
  • Postal address
  • Date of birth
  • Customer ID
  • Other personal data

You are only affected if you had an account or an order with this organisation.

What you can do
