Armurerie Lavaux

ModerateConfirmedRetail

Armurerie Lavaux, a French firearms, ammunition and accessories retailer, confirmed to its customers on 6 August 2026 a targeted cyberattack detected on 1 August, which allowed extraction of order data dating back to 2025. On 18 September 2026, a dataset presented as coming from the same incident, containing 232,341 rows for 120,158 individuals, was put up for sale; it reportedly also includes information presented as linked to the French shooting federation (FFTir) and the national firearms information system (SIA), though direct compromise of those two organizations is not established.

Combining an identity, a precise home address and a firearms or ammunition purchase history allows a third party to locate a gun owner's home and run fraudulent outreach impersonating the retailer, the shooting federation or a public administration.

Exposed data

  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • Postal address
  • Order history

You are only affected if you had an account or an order with this organisation.

What you can do

  • Expect phishing attempts quoting your name and this company. A message that knows your details is not legitimate for that reason.
  • You can ask the organisation exactly what was exposed about you (right of access), and complain to the DPA if no answer comes within a month.
