Aroma-Zone

ModerateConfirmedRetail

Between July 31 and August 17, 2026, an unauthorized third party accessed data flowing through Shipup, a delivery-tracking and notification provider used by more than 700 brands, following the exploitation of a critical vulnerability in the Metabase software (CVE-2026-72898). Aroma-Zone notified some of its customers on September 8, 2026, stating that its own systems, website and customer accounts were not compromised. The exposed data includes names, email addresses and, where provided, phone numbers.

The exposed contact details could be used to craft targeted phishing messages impersonating Aroma-Zone delivery notifications.

Exposed data

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number

You are only affected if you had an account or an order with this organisation.

What you can do

  • Expect phishing attempts quoting your name and this company. A message that knows your details is not legitimate for that reason.
  • You can ask the organisation exactly what was exposed about you (right of access), and complain to the DPA if no answer comes within a month.
