Communauté de communes Yvetot Normandie

ModerateConfirmedPublic sector

An actor claimed on 7 September 2026 to have published an archive of about 224 documents (570 MB) taken from an external OVH-hosted space used by the Yvetot Normandie intercommunal authority (Seine-Maritime, France). The authority stated on 9 September that its internal systems had not been compromised and that no resident data appeared in the leaked files. The archive reportedly contains administrative documents (meeting notices, minutes, procurement files) and limited professional personal data concerning elected officials, participants in urban-planning consultations, and external contributors, with no passwords, national ID numbers, or sensitive data.

The exposed professional contact details (name, email, phone, address) could be used to target elected officials or external contributors with fraudulent messages impersonating the authority.

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Postal address
  • Employment data

You are only affected if you had an account or an order with this organisation.

What you can do

  • Expect phishing attempts quoting your name and this company. A message that knows your details is not legitimate for that reason.
  • You can ask the organisation exactly what was exposed about you (right of access), and complain to the DPA if no answer comes within a month.
