Talentplug
ModerateConfirmedEmployment and HR
A database presented as originating from Talentplug, a French recruitment software provider, was published on 28 September 2026 on a forum frequented by cybercriminals. It reportedly contains 118,677 records of job applications submitted between May 2025 and September 2026, corresponding to roughly 62,700 distinct individuals. The exposed data includes names, email addresses, phone numbers, job titles applied for, and, for at least one application in the published sample, attachments such as a CV. Talentplug has not publicly confirmed the incident at this stage.
Exposure of these contact details and applied-for job titles facilitates targeted phishing, fake recruitment schemes, or social engineering aimed at the affected individuals.

What you can do
- Expect phishing attempts quoting your name and this company. A message that knows your details is not legitimate for that reason.
- You can ask the organisation exactly what was exposed about you (right of access), and complain to the DPA if no answer comes within a month.
