French media outlet Frontières had subscriber data exposed online, according to security flaws reported in late September 2026 by a cybersecurity researcher. The exposed information includes names, first names and email addresses, for an unspecified number estimated at several tens of thousands of accounts. One of the flaws was fixed after the alert, but some data reportedly remained accessible at the time of publication. Frontières has not issued any public statement on the incident.
The exposure of names and email addresses leaves affected subscribers exposed to targeted phishing attempts.

What you can do
- Expect phishing attempts quoting your name and this company. A message that knows your details is not legitimate for that reason.
- You can ask the organisation exactly what was exposed about you (right of access), and complain to the DPA if no answer comes within a month.
