Equibel (Fédération Royale Belge des Sports Équestres)
HighReportedNonprofits
On 2 October 2026, a database attributed to Equibel, a platform used to manage Belgian equestrian competitions and linked to the Royal Belgian Equestrian Federation, was offered for sale on a cybercriminal forum. The seller claims about 9 million records, including 55,846 person records and 167,947 horse records. According to published samples, the person records would include name, email address, phone number, date of birth, sport identifiers, licences, club and some insurance information. These figures are the seller's own claims and have not been confirmed by the organisation.
Such contact details and identifiers would let a malicious third party run targeted phishing campaigns against riders and horse owners.

What you can do
- Expect phishing attempts quoting your name and this company. A message that knows your details is not legitimate for that reason.
