A database attributed to Sport 2000's internal ski rental reservation tool was published online on 5 October 2026. According to FrenchBreaches' analysis, it holds 483,953 reservation records, of which 371,803 are validated, covering 335,921 distinct customer names, 252,054 unique email addresses and 464 stores or rental points, over the period 2005-2026; the most recent validated reservation dates from 20 August 2026. The files include names, email addresses, postal addresses, stores, stay periods, rented equipment, amounts paid, insurance and loyalty benefits, as well as the age, shoe size, height, weight range and skiing level of the skiers, sometimes including children.
These details allow a malicious third party to craft credible phishing messages citing the store, stay or rented equipment, and to target families whose children appear in the files.
