Medialog

Medialog, a French publisher of management software for hotels and restaurants, suffered an intrusion into its platform. Unauthorised access lasted from 27 September 2026 to 5 October 2026. The main extraction, about 135 GB, consists of complete guest records from roughly 1,500 establishments. According to the publisher, it includes identity, date, city and country of birth, nationality, postal address, email addresses, phone numbers, booking and stay details, room number and deposit amount. No payment card data is said to have been accessible from the affected applications. According to FrenchBreaches, hotel guests are reportedly already being approached on WhatsApp.
Civil-status details combined with contact information and stay details allow a malicious party to craft highly credible phishing messages referring to a real booking.
