Aqua-Store
HighReportedRetail
Aqua-Store, a French online retailer of aquarium and pond equipment, told its customers that an unauthorised party accessed its customer database on 29 and 30 September 2026. The data involved includes names, email and postal addresses, phone numbers and dates of birth (where provided), customer account information, and order histories with delivery addresses. The company states that payment data is not stored on its site and that passwords are not among the categories reported as exposed. The number of people affected has not been disclosed; the incident was reported to the CNIL.
Combining a person's contact details with their purchase history lets a malicious third party craft targeted phishing messages posing as the shop or a carrier.

What you can do
- Expect phishing attempts quoting your name and this company. A message that knows your details is not legitimate for that reason.
- You can ask the organisation exactly what was exposed about you (right of access), and complain to the DPA if no answer comes within a month.
