Quick
ModerateReportedRetail
Quick detected unauthorized access to its Qlub Quick loyalty programme and temporarily suspended it, then reopened it once security measures were in place. According to the company, the data involved are full names, email addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, loyalty card numbers and points balances. Quick states that it does not collect banking details, so none were affected. The number of people concerned has not been disclosed and the investigation is ongoing. Customers who made purchases between 5 October and 9 October at 11:00 can ask customer service to correct their points.
Name, email, phone number and date of birth allow a third party to send personalised phishing messages impersonating the brand, for example a fake message about loyalty points.

What you can do
- Expect phishing attempts quoting your name and this company. A message that knows your details is not legitimate for that reason.
- You can ask the organisation exactly what was exposed about you (right of access), and complain to the DPA if no answer comes within a month.
