Courtiers Partenaires

ModerateReportedOther

A threat actor claims to have stolen a database from Courtiers Partenaires, a Swiss real estate brokerage network, and is offering it for sale. The database is said to hold 97,704 rows covering 57,229 distinct people, with about 57,241 email addresses and 42,609 phone numbers. It reportedly consists of enquiries that individuals sent to Swiss real estate agencies through the Homegate and ImmoScout24 portals. Each enquiry would contain the person's identity and contact details, the property concerned, the agency and sometimes the message sent to the broker. The organisation has not confirmed the claim. A 1,000-row sample examined by the source outlet matches this content.

These data let a third party contact people directly while knowing which property they enquired about and which agency handled it, making targeted phishing or solicitation attempts credible.

Exposed data

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Other personal data

You are only affected if you had an account or an order with this organisation.

What you can do

  • Expect phishing attempts quoting your name and this company. A message that knows your details is not legitimate for that reason.
  • You can ask the organisation exactly what was exposed about you (right of access), and complain to the DPA if no answer comes within a month.
