On 10 October 2026, an individual announced on a cybercriminal forum the sale of data they attribute to Vos Démarches Éco Energy (VD2E), a French company that assists with administrative procedures for energy renovation projects. The claimed file holds 86,000 rows drawn from client and prospect management records, is about 32.4 MB in JSONL format, and would cover August 2019 to October 2026. It would include names, postal addresses, cities, phone numbers and email addresses, tracking identifiers, contact details of additional business contacts, and case-tracking information.
Contact details tied to an energy renovation project would let a malicious third party craft credible fraudulent calls, texts or emails posing as the company or a grant-related body.
