MaQuestionMedicale
CriticalReportedHealthcare
A threat actor claims to be selling about 369,000 rows of messages exchanged between patients and doctors on MaQuestionMedicale, a French telemedicine platform. The messages would cover 2019 to 2026. They may contain descriptions of symptoms, mentions of treatments, prescriptions and health insurance claim forms, and names or phone numbers written into the conversations. The rows are messages, not distinct people, so the number of people affected is unknown. The samples reviewed show whether a message was written by a patient or a doctor, but do not systematically include real identities. Nothing confirms that attached documents were extracted. The reported access method, a compromised patient account exploiting a flaw, is unconfirmed.
Health messages linked to a name or phone number could let a third party target individuals with phishing or extortion based on their medical situation.

What you can do
- Expect phishing attempts quoting your name and this company. A message that knows your details is not legitimate for that reason.
- Health data is “special category” data under the GDPR: a leak opens a right to compensation, and the organisation must notify the DPA within 72 hours.
- You can ask the organisation exactly what was exposed about you (right of access), and complain to the DPA if no answer comes within a month.
