Grande Pharmacie des Halles
CriticalReportedHealthcare
On 15 October 2026, a data leak claim targeting Grande Pharmacie des Halles, a pharmacy in Lille, France, was posted on a cybercriminal forum. According to an analysis of an archive of about 1.4 GB attributed to the post, it would hold over a thousand documents, mainly photos and scans of named prescriptions sent through the pharmacy's online prescription submission service. The documents are reportedly dated from September 2017 to October 2026 and, by the outlet's own estimate, concern roughly 680 to 700 distinct patients, including minors. They would show names, first names, dates of birth, postal addresses and prescribed treatments, notably in psychiatry and oncology. The pharmacy has not confirmed the authenticity of the data or the circumstances of the incident.
Named prescriptions tie a person directly to their medical treatments, which lets a malicious third party identify them, target them with phishing or blackmail, or disclose highly sensitive medical information.
