Adetel Group

ModerateReportedIndustry

A hacker claims to have released for free, on 17 October 2026, a database of 11,356 records (44 MB) said to come from Adetel Group, a French embedded electronics group. The sample extracts described contain employee names, phone numbers, company, agency and department affiliations, internal identifiers, references to directory photos, vehicle information (including licence plates) and internal project data. The lines mix several record types, so the count does not necessarily match the number of distinct people. The company has not confirmed the incident, and the examined extracts show no passwords, bank details or identity documents.

Names combined with phone numbers, an employer and vehicle details could be used for targeted phishing or impersonation attempts against the employees concerned.

  • Phone number
  • Customer ID
  • Employment data
  • Other personal data

You are only affected if you had an account or an order with this organisation.

What you can do

  • Expect phishing attempts quoting your name and this company. A message that knows your details is not legitimate for that reason.
  • You can ask the organisation exactly what was exposed about you (right of access), and complain to the DPA if no answer comes within a month.
