DEKRA France

ModerateReportedOther

A database presented as coming from DEKRA France, a company specialising in inspection and certification, was made available on a cybercriminal forum on 24 October 2026. The poster claims 16,171 records, in a file of about 16 MB. The sample reviewed by FrenchBreaches contains names, postal addresses, phone numbers, email fields (several of which hold numeric values), case identifiers and inspection details, including checks related to heat pumps and energy savings certificates. DEKRA has not publicly confirmed the data's authenticity; its origin and the number of distinct individuals affected are not established, as one person may appear in several case files.

The combination of contact details and energy renovation work information could allow a malicious third party to run targeted fraud attempts by posing as an inspection body or a renovation contractor.
