Renaissance

ModerateReportedOther

On 24 October 2026, an individual claimed to have freely released several files attributed to the Renaissance political party. The main file reportedly holds about 4.16 million door-to-door canvassing rows, alongside event files (around 10,000 records) and 1,547 profiles, including event organisers. Samples reviewed by FrenchBreaches contain postal addresses, GPS coordinates, first and last names, political roles and campaign organisation data. The authenticity and origin of the files are not established, and the number of individuals actually identifiable is unknown: the figure of 9.6 million voters is a count attached to addresses, not a list of named people.

Names linked to addresses, GPS coordinates and political roles could let a malicious third party locate officials or activists and target them by mail, canvassing or impersonation.
