Alpine Linux rebuilds its GitLab after an attempted exploitation
On 20 and 21 October, attackers went after Alpine Linux's GitLab through a critical flaw, and the project rebuilt the server and reset every password. The lesson is that an updated instance can still be vulnerable, and this one sits on a link that countless Docker images depend on.
